would a wireless charger work with the case on

I have a spigen slim armour case and wanted to buy the official wireless charger as I can charge my n5

Just wondered if it would work with the case on or will I need to take it out every time

I have not tried it, but I have seen videos online of people being able to charge their N5 through the slim armor case, so I would guess you would be good.

It does indeed charge through the case, but the magnet it uses to hold the phone there/let you know where the sweet spot is gets pretty useless.


So it works, but I find myself taking off the case because its much easier to know exactly where to place it to charge

I have the Nokia 900 charger (bought it at the local AT&T phone store for $25 in December, and it's still listed for that price) and it works fine with several cases I have tried, and doesn't seem too fussy about placement.

In this regard it seems to be better than the 'official' google charger.

Just put the phone down on it and you hear the little sound for connecting to battery charger a second or two later.
