Hi guys, just ordered a 7inch tab, after the 10inch (supposedly) 1ghz toy I got turned out to be slow.

Its a 800mhz cortex A9, 512mb of ram and the Mali 400 GPU. Looks quite good. I've read around the Mali's are quite powerfull.

Can be found here:

Google Android 2.2 7 inch Tablet PC Game Book AMLogic A9-800MHZ-512MB-4GB-HD-Flash 10.1-3D Game, Britain - DinoDirect.com

Was just wondering if anyone from experience or else had any opinions on what its game capabilities might be like, chances of running the gameloft and hd even tegra games on it?

You might be able to run a few Gameloft games, Tegra games won't work because you don't have a Tegra 2 chip on there. Chainfire3D will probably not work with that tablet either. My guess is that it will probably be a slow tablet =/

I wouldn't expect to play any Gameloft or Tegra games, you might need to root and rom it to get the full android experience

Thanks for your opinions guys. Always going to root whatever I get. Will probably end up getting the advent vega, although heard it can be an annoying without a home buttom. I just always end up buying and selling a few phones/tablets and such things before i get the one I want. Usually get the same price near off on ebay. I will see what it can do and report back when I get it.

800MHz A9 (Dual Core?) and Mali 400 is hardly a slow tablet, in fact thats pretty good for the price. Same resolution as a Galaxy S II so it's possible games designed for that will work on this tablet, gameloft have already released a few games and more are expected in the next few weeks.

Might have to copy the data files manually but they should work, chainfire3d also might work as the hardware is very similar to the Galaxy S II.

Potentially a great value gaming tablet, just a shame about the resistive touch screen.

Resistive touch screen would be a no-go for me. It is really bad for gaming. You'll find yourself being annoyed by the hard to use touchscreen.
