Wow! Almost a full year since I got this phone!

In two weeks it will have been one year since I got this phone. I remember how excited I was to get it.
Love this phone. I use it a LOT every day, texting, online news/sports, using apps such as the many photography ones for my Nikon D500, app for timed releases, etc. This phone is a mini-computer! I can actually leave my laptop at home more often.
No real complaints... once I put a cover on it. I didn't like the interference (added letters/numbers) while texting with the wrap around screen while in my palm. Problem solved with new cover.
It will last me another year easy, then it will be time to get a new one when my two year contract is up.
I'll be ready then. Next March 2018, I'll start getting excited again...

Yea same here, bang on a year, the S8 is due out end of this month, it looks great, super small bezels and 5.8 or 6.2" screens :o Latest CPU, no physical home button. Should be well established by the time your contract is up.

I almost waited for the Note 7 to come out instead of getting the S7 Edge as I had the Note 4 & 5 before and really liked them. But the S7 Edge looked so good with some great deals when it came out, VR gear etc, I jumped on it. Glad I did as the Note 7 was a huge dud.

BOT: @jack58 which Edge features do you use?
Exactly what you mean, as the features are similar to the S7, what the Note 7 was suppose to be etc.

I use it a LOT every day, texting, online news/sports, using apps such as the many photography ones for my Nikon D500, app for timed releases, etc. This phone is a mini-computer! I can actually leave my laptop at home more often.

I would use the clock thing on one of the side edges. I only think it works with Samsung cases though.

Case closed at your beside, you look to your nightstand and your phone is still telling you things.

Wasn't there supposed to be like scrolling texts or something, like that building in New York City?
