Wow at Albuquerque, NM 4g speeds!

Nice! Most places in the Dallas area I'm getting 4 to 5 download. I've gotten 15 up in Plano tho.

Really, how do you know? I'm not doubting you I'm just curious.

Also do you think it will be like this in Los Angeles? When I left there 2 months ago 4G was still relatively slow
LA wont be like that since they haven't combined the networks yet but the speeds may be better since they have been rerouting the backhaul with tmo fiber to its fiber core.

We know because metro doesn't have 4G there and tmobile does and tmobiles the only other 4G we can get.
I find it curious that Albuquerque isn't on Any of the published current or coming LTE cities I can find anywhere.

Bruce in Ocala, Fl

Theres a lot of 4G cities coming online that aren't even on the list. Theyre going to be way ahead of schedule and way ahead of Sprint by the end of the year even with Sprints 10 month head start.

I could not tell you definitively that its t mobiles lte but I can tell you its lte, that upload speed is not possible with any other network type.

And as has been said if metro doesnt have lte there tmo it has to be.

Which phone are you using.

LG Motion which is CDMA/LTE only

Yes what New Optimus said, EvDO and 1x are CDMA. Like HSPA and EDGE,GPRS is GSM and by far extent LTE is also based on GSM

The name CDMA2000 actually denotes a family of standards that represent the successive, evolutionary stages of the underlying technology. These are, in order of evolution:
  • CDMA2000 1xRTT
  • CDMA2000 1xEV-DO: Release 0, Revision A, Revision B
