I always see that happen at my local walmarts and even the big walmarts in Las Vegas 
But now they added cameras right were the tablets are. Because people got the the extreme and started looking at really bad stuff on a KIDS tablet and the regular tablets.
The manager for the nearest one says they might even take the entire row off

Sounds like Walmart needs to put non-functioning dummies out instead.
Reminds me of a story of a store in the UK where some mother and child tried out Siri on a display iDevice and it responded by calling them an obscene name.
Of course what had happened was that somebody else had told Siri that that was this device owner's name, then left this booby trap for anyone else who tried it.
