Help wps-disabled appended to APN

Hi,

I have an issue with this phone in that if I disconnect either a mains or usb cable from the device the APN gets renamed and 3g stops. I can manually change it back but it is a real pain.See image

Has anyone seen this before or can guide me in the right direction.

Are you using a stock or custom ROM?

I am using the stock ROM.

Got so p#ss'd off that I reset the phone using the 3 button method to get it back to "out of the box". Since then It has worked flawlessly. No sign of this problem reappearing so far. All my apps are back on the device and all is good.
