i have seen others writing on their ipads with the stylus on a pdf file

just wondering if writing on samsung galaxy tab is possible?

If you are going to do any serious writing or drawing on the GTab, I would highly recommend the TouchScreen Tune app (requires root). It allows you to fine-tune screen sensitivity and small movement detection. It even one-ups the iPad 2 by providing palm rejection. This feature allows you to rest the side of your hand (or palm) on the screen in a natural writing position, versus the whiteboard style "drawing in mid air" technique normally required on tablets.
