Wrong DPI on HTC!

I recently changed my DPI on my HTC Wildfire S from 160 to 240 DPI, after resetting my phone it wouldnt boot, it shows up HTC logo, and then when it should say "Quietly brilliant" the screen goes off, but sound is played, the backlight still works, and the boot screen still works, i have tried factory reset but to no avail! How can i fix this, im completely stumped!

Welcome to AF

You need to flash a new rom to get it to boot, the factory reset doesn't rewrite the build.prop

So where can I find the correct ROM to put on my phone, and can I just re-install the ROM I already have?

I would suggest check out out wildfire s root forums for info about roms for your phone

not sure what you mean....some roms are better with the play store than others...You may want to try a different rom if stuff isn't available...
