Help wrong ROM X10i on X10a

I have an xperia x10a I updated it to android 2.3 but now I notice the phone info screen list it as a x10i. It does not recognize the sim card either. Could this probably be because of having an incorrect rom? X10i rom on x10a device?
 
There was a difference with 1.6 and 2.1, but 2.3 is the same ROM and the same baseband for X10a and X10i.

How did you get 2.3 installed? Perhaps you do not have the right baseband (in which case you might not even be able to boot?).
