If your phone is not new then why should you receive a new phone?
Dude I get your point. I believe the people on this board are beginning to become as bad as Apple Fanboys. Defending a product with severe issues just because its a product they like. Its like they feel that HTC is going to stop making phones for Sprint if you complain about them.Because I PAID FOR A NEW PHONE, not some defective unit. What part of that does not register with some off you guys. Stand up for yourselves and demand what you paid for. People in this country are lazy and let companies dictate to them what they are going to get. That's a shame.

JKSo the moral of the story is that if it isn't broken enough, break it more! lolJK

Well on Saturday I was wiping the screen clean and saw dust under the screen (top left corner, I also have light leakage) and decided to goto a Sprint store with a repair center, long story short, I get the run around and was told to contact HTC as Sprint could do nothing about the issue. Well I call HTC this morning and they want me to send in my phone for repair. The problem is this is my main phone and what do I do in the meantime (because of HTC'c blunder with sealing the screen). HTC says it will be a 2 week turn around (I don't believe this as they seem like incompetent Monkeys). This really upsets me![]()
By "whenever", can we assume this happened more than once? If so, why?dont know if this helps anyone, but with my evo whenever it got dropped into a pool i took it to bestbuy (have the protection plan through them) and ended up getting a new phone bc it was "more expensive to fix it than it originally cost" at no cost to me![]()
I said whenever it GOT dropped into a pool, not whenever it GETS dropped into a pool. As in once lolBy "whenever", can we assume this happened more than once? If so, why?
It's kinda like hearing about the same group of women who keep dropping their Blackberrys in the toilet here at work (my boss buys all phones for the hospital). Why would this happen more than once?
You don't need the "ever" part then. In this context, "whenever" suggests an event that happens more than once.I said whenever it GOT dropped into a pool, not whenever it GETS dropped into a pool. As in once lol

They BETTER offer to help OR they will lose a customer. My whole family is on Sprint and since I am the "Tech Guy" for the family they would lose a few subscriptions. What do we pay insurance for then? That $7 a month is NOT for nothing.
I don't understand why people are willing to take a refurbished phone , WHEN WE BOUGHT THEM NEW. I refuse to take someone else's POS phone. There's a reason that phone was sent in. I don't want their old issue(s). Just send me a NEW phone and I will let it be. It's not our fault the phones were shipped and sold defective. That's HTC's and Sprint's issue not mine.
I don't know why I read this entire thread, but it was rather nauseating to read the OP's posts along the way...
A little advice to the OP: What you WANT and what you are ENTITLED to are two different things. Start blurring the line in your head and your arguments become a tad whiny and childish ...
BTW: A refurb phone is not just being "passed along" with the original defects. The phones are disassembled, tested and all necessary parts are being replaced. They even reflash them with new software. You wouldn't know the difference ! (except that they are disclosing to you that you get a refurb and not a new one)
