x or maxx

Did anyone here consider the maxx before getting the x? If so why?
Thanks

I did. I went with the X because I didn't care for the size of the Maxx. I went to the X from the RAZR, and I didn't want to go bigger than the RAZR which the Maxx is. I like the X, no regrets.

I had the Galaxy Nexus (another larger phone) for a couple of years and was ready to move to something smaller. I did play with the Maxx, but it just felt bloated in my opinion.

The Maxx is pretty much all about the battery. It's a great phone, but I don't like the size and appearance, including the fixed buttons. The Moto X won't outdo it in the battery department, but given mine can last 24 hours, it suits me fine. It boiled down to aesthetics and carrier freedom.

Now if you wanted to increase the depth of the Moto X a bit and give it the Maxx treatment, I certainly wouldn't have complained.:)

Size and battery would really be the only reason you would want the Maxx over the X. To me, the battery ( on the x ) is enough for me. So I never really considered the X. But some people really want that extra battery, and that is perfectly understandable.
