The way to tell whether X-plore's donation goes through the Play Store is to press the donate ("beer") button. Or heck, you can use it without donating (beyond the beer glass at the top there is no repeating/ongoing nag - I inadvertently used it a lot longer than I intended without donating, so can say this from personal experience).

The other way to tell is because I've said it goes through the Play Store until I'm blue in the face.

Here's my receipt for buying the dev a beer.

Looking forward to the next argument about how maybe in-app purchases don't work that way and there's no possible way to find out.

Be as stubborn as you want, your theory still won't become a fact. But you do as you think best.
