X10 after a week

Same here my first android and I'm winning all my friends over with it, the emulator us awesome as long as you don't expect miracles, wipeout, final fantasy and marvel vs capcom all work fine, playing musashi brave fencer now, fun rpg to party on the train 👍 can't beat a casual hack n slash. I love how I'm still finding new tricks for it though and how new ones are still coming, looking forward to the new single touch browsing being developed s well as a boost in speed and hd video in the coming months... Its just a phone but it's doubling up as a shopping aid, camera, notepad, game boy, calender etc etc etc, so what if other phones have their own benefits, most of those are only in the short run anyway with 2.1 and 2.2 coming!

Although maybe I'm just seeing all this through rose tinted glasses since I've got mine on a tenner a month </gloat>

By the way...

I'm one of the main protagonists for hating this phone for lacking in many ways for it faults and lack of specs

I was all set to sell the phone for a Samsung Galaxy S but apon holding it it just looked like a iclone so have stuck with the X10.

But on the gloat factor I pay

I must admit I love the X10. It was much better than I expected. Much of this is the general android stuff. That you can do many things, and that it is fast. In the areas the phone needs to be good x10 is good. Hardware is essential, as you can customize most of the phone. x10 has good hardware. I use ADW launcher, and have no problems with it. Some apps occasionally fc, but those issues are getting fewer and fewer as app developpers gets better and updates their software. The thing that lifts the x10 experience is the camera and the screen. I have very beautiful photos from my trip to Iceland last weekend. And I love to watch tv-series on the train. The resolution is better than a tv.
