my cousin is living in Iran and I'm going over to visit in about 2 weeks, and shes asked me if I can root her X10. I've agreed thinking it will be easy to just look it all up but I'm getting quite confused with all the different ways to root and such.
I've just sent her a FB message asking what android system she has but it will take a while to get a reply (We'll also probably get a call in the next few days anyway). What I need is a easy to follow guide in rooting the phone and any additional files I would need or apk's and I will save all to a usb as internet might be difficult to obtain there.
I have looked around on google and here but I've been so confused with all the different ways of rooting and some jargon. I'm more of a PC 'hacker' (in terms of shortcuts and such
) and find phones more difficult.
