Help x10 debranding went wrong ?

hello i debrand my rogers x10a which i have unlocked when i bought it . so last night when i debrand successfully my build number is still R1FA014 and the reason i debrand to get R1FA016 and i did over the air update with wifi and my x10a said i already have latest version. so can any1 tell me what i did wrong or what should i do?
