Help X10 facebook integration

[prassu]

The new facebook app after 2.3 upgrade is throwing a notification whenever I unlock my phone. It is asking permission to allow X10 use all features of facebook. What does it do if I allow access? Will it upload all the photos in my phone gallery to facebook?? Also will it sync all the contacts with Facebook??

If you want to sync contacts and stuff with facebook, you need to add the account under Settings->Accounts and Sync.

When you upgraded to 2.3, did you do a factory reset (as is recommended after upgrading)?

Have you tried removing and reinstalling the app? Have you updated the app?

I think I remember someone else having a similar issue.

If you allow access it will start syncing data from Facebook such as calendar, birthdays etc. It will add photos to the contacts in your phonebook and it will add a Facebook gallery within the Gallery itself.
