Help X10 orientation doesnt work now

Ive no idea what happened one day it worked the next it didnt, ive took the battery out ect and restarted it a few times but hasnt worked, any idea whats wrong?

have you checked settings->sounds & display->orientation to make sure this is selected.

Yes and still doesnt work, rebooted too also had sim and battery out, makes no diffirence, dont know whats happened

Do you have a Launcher installed and running?

Instead of going to Settings, do you have an option for Preferences?

What Launcher is installed?

If you don't have one installed, you might want to try one out to see if that fixes it. Install Launcher Pro or some other launcher....maybe ADW Launcher....I like Launcher Pro...but that has the option to turn orientation on and off....hopefully it's not a hardware issue.
