Help Xbmc/Kodi keeps crashing

Hi I'm fairly new to this so please forgive if im doing something stupid. I've got a MXIII android tv box that I've been using mainly for watching movies on Genesis for 6 months now with no problems. A couple of days ago it just started freezing all the time and can only be restarted by a power off. Initially I cleared the cache on Xbmc and then cleared all data, both with no success. I then uninstalled Xbmc and reinstalled the latest Kodi. Problem is still happening I can't even get past the point of typing in the url to install the genesis add on. Any advice as to what it might be or what I should do would be appreciated!
 
Hi sorry I can't help but could you please explain what Genesis is?
Ive recently got an Android TV stick and recently installed Kodi bit don't fully understand it. Thanks ;)
