Anyone with an Xbox should check this app out. It basically makes your phone a remote for your Xbox.

You need Android 4+ in order to install the app.

How responsive is it?

Are there any games that make use of additional content stuff yet? I'm sure I saw something at E3 and it showed a guy scanning stuff with his phone/tab and it brought up a sort of databank with additional information on the object he was looking at. I thought that looked pretty cool.

I've installed, I'll give it a go when I get time later. I've been looking forward to this and didn't know it was out yet, thank you for the heads up. :)

I'll be trying it out later just wanted to give people the heads up.

It's a sweet looking app though!

I have mixed reviews of it. It was quite responsive in most areas and I was surprised by this. One thing that I simply could not make work is the cursor for IE browsing. You're supposed to be able to swipe around your screen (according to the video I had to watch) to move the cursor and I would swipe across my screen and the cursor would barely even budge. In fact I spent several minutes trying to move the cursor to the upper right-hand corner to close the video via the X and finally gave up and dashboarded to get out. Haven't opened IE since. I do like the implementation though and realize this is just an early version and I'm excited for things to come.

Where does this app install to on Android storage? I have searched through two of my devices, both don't have an SD Card, and cannot find the install location.

When you are using the app make sure you have your phone connected to your wireless network before connecting it to xbox. I have found that without doing this my cursor is pretty ineffectual but as soon as I connect to home network it works perfectly. It really makes using internet explorer on the xbox a pleasure on my Panasonic 50 inch screen TV. Just check the options on the internet screen to make it fill the screen. One other good point I found was that dragging your finger up and down the bar at the right hand side of screen makes for really fast scrolling, Good luck

a reg uni TV remote can be programed to do things also, discovered that by mistake using the auto scan for codes feature. Fun to remotly turn off peoples xbox through a window.

WOW that was odd, between my post the app had been updated, it first said 2x+ and started to install on my OV.

30sec later it crashes, visit the page to restart and the update they did yesterday is now live, which is 4.0X again....................

To add to your observation, I noticed the app's version number was the same in the last two Play updates, both v1.5.
