Xcam Camera

For the people that were inquiring about if Xcam will work on the stylo/ or if bellabytes will create an update the app to support.... the answer is no. I emailed him directly and due to the xcam app being supported by the camera1 api, there is no possible way that an update can be created to support the Stylo. All phones that are Lollipop have the camera2 api. Bellabytes did say that "If I end up getting a G4 at some point I'll probably work on the camera". There is an app right now in the app store called manual camera compatibility test, and currently the the stylo is incompatible. This is due to the manual focus, manual white balance, manual iso, manual shutter speed, and raw support. With root manual settings can be unlocked ie xda forum.
 
Testing it out and so far I'm seeing a slight improvement. Also, I can't find the pics I took with xcam on my gallery.

which storage you have in the setting?
Don't use SDCard if that is what is selected cuz won't save the pictures use the other one. only fix for that is been rooted and use and app from play store but need to be rooted, is been an issue since Kitkat btw

Im gonna upload the platform.xml i have edited so Xcam can work n save pics on sd... Give time have to upload

Well i have that fix with Nextapp SDfix from play store , i thought you weren't rooted :D
But thank you maybe someone else may need this

Jajaja... I'm pretty much set... Rooted, unlocked, slim-down OS, tethering and test running all CPU's with different clocks to see functionality. ✌
 
I have this on my MetroPCS 5.11 and it`s force closing on the dual camera ( vid and pic ) mode... any one have any ideas?
 
Tried this and video seems to studder alot
Edit: I was using a different video player works fine now. Also what I noticed is when you use UHD the video seems to be choppy

Installed this cam and works great. MUCH better pics. Heres a quick pic I took last night at Freys lol
Not great, but better than the stock cam.
