XCOM Enemy Within graphical glitches

Hello!

First of all let me start with my device and it's specifications.
I have been fighting with this issue for about 5 months now and had no progress in resolving it hence my arrival here in hopes to find assistance.
  • Model : LG G4
  • Model number : LG-H815
  • Android version : 6.0
  • Kernel version : 3.10.84
  • Build number : MRA58K
  • Software version : V20d-EUR-XX

The problem...

Black shadow-like artifacts on the entire battlefield at all times. The more you zoom out the worse it becomes and in dark levels it's almost completely opaque. I have also included screenshots of this in hopes that it could help you identify the problem.

And yes I've tried contacting 2k support about this issue, they provided me with a elegant "Did you try reinstalling it?".

Please help and thank you very much in advance.

I can't offer any assistance, but looking through reviews on the Play Store, it appears you're not alone -

Great Game, artifacts on G4.

The game itself is great, I love the XCOM series. However, the game has distinct visual artifacts all over the screens resembling black/brown stripes which prevent you from seeing half your view.

It looks to be a known issue and given that it was last updated in 2014, it doesn't look as if 2K have any interest in fixing, sorry.

Hello.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, your efforts are much appreciated.
Very well then, I shall continue to fight this ordeal a bit longer. If I find something I'll post it here.
