Help XE In Call Sound Quality

Hi everyone, When I'm in a call using my xe I hear quite a bit of static/hissing is this a normal thing with this phone ? just that this is my second xe (I sent the first one back because of the very same issue).

Maybe it's just me being a bit fussy but it's something that really irritates me. The problem seems to be just at my end as the person i'm calling says the call sounds fine to them.

I'm really loving everything else about the phone and don't want to have to return it and swap it for something else.

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated

PS when i say (in call) I mean using the earpiece, not speakerphone.

I'm on my second XE too (sent the first one back as it kept shutting off then rebooting) but the call quality on both has been excellent. Much better than on my Desire S. Sounds to me like either you've been very unlucky or there is some other issue (network related possibly?) affecting your call quality. Good luck getting it sorted. It's frustrating I know cause my second XE has unexpectedly shut down and rebooted like the first one so I'm the same as you - loving the phone but feeling very frustrated with it too.
