Xfinity Player dowladed content

While you still have to be on Wifi to stream with this app onece you download something you can watch it anywhere until it expires. I downloaded OZ, The Great and Powerful, 4770MB at home and started watching it on the bus. No Wifi required. There are expiration dates on your downloads so it does not look possoble to retain any content you download. Still pretty nifty though.

Crikey! Even the medium grade downloads look good on my Note 3. This is almost like Netflix for Xfinity subscribers.

This app has just been updated to include streaming over mobile networks. I'm not sure about downloading though and I haven't done the update yet. I'll post back on how the update works after I've finishing watching New Jack City. Unless of course some other Xfinity Subscriber chimes in first. :date:

No luck on t-mobile but evidently Verizon Wireless users can stream from their network. can anyone confirm this?
