How do I view .xls files on my droid?

All I get is. Cannot download. The content is not supported on this phone.

I think you have to open it with quick office. I froze it, cuz I never intend to use it, but with a name like quick office, I imagine it lets you view the office suite's files.

Quick office would allow the file to open, it won't allow the download.

How are you trying to download it, email, gmail, web, etc?

I downloaded it from a website. It starts then I get the msg.

That's odd. You should be able to download any file type from the browser.
It should only error upon opening if you don't have an app that can handle the extension.

You might try "Linda" or some other download manager from Market.
