Xmas dinner

ocnbrze

DON'T PANIC!!!!!!!!!
what do y'all do for Xmas?

turkey? ham?

i usually cook turkey, but this year i'm gonna be doing something different. i'm gonna be making a seafood stew.....or my take on cioppino which is an italian seafood soup or stew.

its gonna have crab, shrimp, white fish (thinking halibut), lobster, and some vegetables in a tomato based broth.

when i do make it i'll post some picks and leave the recipe if anybody wants it.

so what are you guys going to be having for Xmas?

This year I'm leaning towards a ham. Turkey is the norm but I don't anticipate a large dinner this year. I can scale down a ham dinner and will be best for the come and go company that we'll likely entertain.

I've basically boiled onions in a gravy. I like it baked over chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and liver.
Either a beef stock gravy or milk and flour gravy. I've never eaten just boiled onions.

My mother was Irish (as in born in Ireland, not distantly descended from Irish), and I have to admit that boiled onions was not part of her repertoire.

here is my xmas dinner....it was so bomb.com...LOL
