Apps XML database for Android apps

Did anyone used before a local XML file as a database for a android app?

I am trying to build a app with flash using a xml file as database, to read the xml from a external file from the local directory isn't a problem, the problem is how to write data from flash to the xml file.

If used or know some tutorials guides that can help me please leave a reply.

Hi!

I had similiar problem, but not the same. I wanted to receive xml-data from an external server. After hours of research I realized that xml is not a good way. I change the data-type to json and now I can work with data from external and local server.

I have xml files on my server and php file which works as proxy. In this file the xml file is being converted to xml and in application I can simply parse this json file Hope it would help a little.
