Xoom Freeze

My Xoom is freezing at startup....the red Motorola logo. I have tried a hard reset (vol. button + power0 and all it does is get me back to the basic problem.

any ideas?

Sorry....it's early for me. should not have posted a question here
I'm a landscape architect on a large transportation project. got the Xoom to use in the field which has been a big disappointment as it crashes when I try to open 25-30 mb drawing files. other than that issue I love it.
