Help Xoom won't start

Lurker
I woke the other day and went to start my Xoom up. I got no response. It was fully charged at the time. I tried to hard boot it and even tried with the volume down button as well. I also took out the SD card, still with no response. Does anyone know of any other tricks that may be of use? I want to try all other options before sending it back. I wrote Motorola without any response too. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I am not sure what else you can try. If you have tried pressing and holding the power button and the volume up button at the same time for several seconds it sounds like it is dead. Did you also try it with the power cord plugged in?

How do you know for sure it is fully charged if it is not on? It is possible something is wrong with either your power cord or power outlet and after plugging it in for several hours it did not charge. Do you see a status light on when it is plugged in?

Thanks for replying. I did try it with the power cord attached. The status light went from white to green, so I assumed that it was powering up. I have two power cords and have tried both.

I talked with Motorola yesterday, but they couldn't resolve the issue either. Now to buy a magnifying glass to try to decipher the serial number. Getting older isn't for the weak.

Thanks again!
