Help Xperia S 4.1.2 Video Camera

Has anyone else had that "unknown error" message come up when they try to use the video camera. This has only recently happened since the JellyBean update.

While we're on the JellyBean issues, has anyone had the problem with
Google voice search where it keeps saying "Sorry didn't catch that"?


Anyway any help and advice would be much appreciated.

I have seen both of these before though the Google voice search one is quite a recent issue. To fix the camera issue you are going to need to run a repair:

To repair the phone software
1. Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support at Download for PC - Sony Smartphones (Global UK English)
2. In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3. Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4. Click repair phone.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

For the Google voice search: main menu > Settings > Apps > All > Google > Uninstall Updates > Navigate to the Playstore in the Main Menu > Menu Button >My apps > Google/Google Search > Update.
