Root Xperia T rooting and non removable battery

I previous phone was an Xperia X8 and I did have fun rooting the phone using CMD and custom roms but I was just wondering what I can expect to do with the Xperia T if the battery cannot be removed ?

I had to remove the battery on the X8 as it bricked. Can this problem be worked around ?

Instead of removing the battery all you do is press and hold the power button and volume gotten together until it vibrates, once just to restart, three times to turn off it simulates a battery pull.
