Help xperia turns off

Did it happen after installing a new application? If so, remove that application.

I would suggest looking at this page:

If it's not your phone's hardware, then it probably has something to do with something being on your phone...probably install a task manager type of app...see what your phone is doing in the background and what apps are running wild and using too much memory.

All else fails you could do a backup and then reinstall using the Sony Ericsson Update Service...
 
I had the same thing but it wasn't after a new app, I think I've sorted it by pulling the battery out for 30 seconds then charging it and it seems to be ok
 
im in the same boat dude.. mine in the last 2 days has done it twice. and it did it a few months ago a few times also.. thats technology for you. im not too worried. I would say im more worried now about the birds and fish dying in the millions world wide.. oh and peoples compasses being off lately ;) *doom* lol
 
Well it happened to me a lot lately. Pulling off the the battery does not help at all. it's not app related and does it just about anytime, sometimes while i text, others while playing games, even on iddle on my desk it just reboots. Many times it reboots twice in a row. I though it was heat related (it sometimes overheats @ 46 celcius). I've read it's somehow the OS errors (like a blue screen on windows) that does that.
