Help Xperia X10: Reply to text message problem.

I've searched the forum and can't find anything similar so I'm assuming it's most likely a set up issue on my phone. I hope someone can suggest something to help?
I occasionally have issues replying to text messages! When I send the messages, I receive a message saying: 'message not sent', even though I have signal at the time. In order to send the message, I have to leave the messaging app (SE default) and go to my contacts list, find the person and send the message as a new message.

Might be a problem with your sim card or network provider.

To check if its the phone or not, put another sim card in your phone and try sending a text. If it works its your current sim card, i had the same soughta problem just that i couldn't receive texts. It turned out to be my sim card.
