Xperia Xa Low Volume

I recently bought a brand new sony xperia xa on android 6.0, everything is great on the phone except when i listen to music, watch videos or even in a phone call the volume is lower than normal with the sound being up full, it is the same with headphones in and i have compared it to my old sony xperia m4 aqua. I have even went in to audio settings and tried different things like the "clear audeo+" and "dynamic normaliser" but doesnt help. I can take the phone in to the shop and get a replacement although I was wondering if there is maybe a simple fix for this..

same here very weak volume, but at the same time xa ultra is very loud maybe its gonna be software fix

this will be a bit late replying to you now.. but if you're still around.. it is slightly lower in max volume than my Galaxy S4 but then again i'm concerned about my hearing being damaged anyway.. Probably Sony i too.
However this is a subjective view. .all hearing is different between people.
