On my rooted AT&T S4, I just "upgraded" from Android 4.4.4 (I337UCUFNJ4) to Android 5.0.1 (1337UCUGOC4) using Flashfire for the Rom and Odin for the bootloader as descirbed here.
I opted for the "odexed" version because it's truer to stock and supposed to be faster loading during boot.
I still have root, that's good.
I Looked around for Xposed... followed the flowchart here
Since we have Snapdragon 600 with Arm V7, our Lollipop option is arter97's version.
According to arter97 here , his version only works with deodexed roms.
Fudge! That's really not good news for me.
Even if I went back and reflashed a Deodexed ROM of the same version, the instructions for arter97's method require a custom recovery. I lost safestrap when I upgraded (there is no safestrap for Lollipop). There is no other custom recovery for these phones to my knowledge.
Is there some path to get xposed back on this phone? (preferably without flashing back to deodexed since I've already invested time setting my phone back up, but I guess I'd reflash to deodexed if I had to, assuming there were some success path.. I can't see any)
