Upload a stock Nandroid and I'll see if I can help..
I'll need everything except data partition, I believe

Even if I could, where would I upload it?

It would just be the one I'd be able to get through Kies. Only ROMs I have been able to find for the N900 Note 3 are all based on 4.3 or 4.4... to my understanding, Knox will insta-brick the phone if I tried to downgrade.

You have Root? TWRP/CWM? if NO to either of those then I can't help. If you DO have root & custom recovery, then just Upload the backup/Nandroid to dropbox/the Box/ Mega.. Whatever and send me a link (PM)

I do have TWRP and Root.

Problem is, my existing TWRP backup is 7GB by itself. That's more than my dropbox account will allow.

Just gimme the boot.emmc.win, system.ext.win, vendor.win (if it exists).. NO data.win (that's your personal info) I may be able to work with just those 3 (boot, system, vendor). I'll at least try!
Might be 1.5Gb there..

No vendor.win on here. there's also a bunch of efs, and I had backed up the radio, just in case. Just boot and system files were 2.11GB. Still more than my dropbox. Honestly, at this point it might be easier to simply try to find a mirror for the installer .rar that would normally be used by Kies.

Up to you, no problem

Okay, interesting. Searching for mirrors with the firmware already brought me to this link: http://samsung-firmware.org/model/SM-N900/region/TTT/

My current one ends with OC3 from there. I wasn't even aware there was a newer build, that is listed there. Based off the same Android 5.0, but seems to have a later build date. If that link doesn't work for you, I did find the original .zip that I used to install Lollipop on my phone and I can try to find a place to upload that for you. As you said, it's about 1.5GB in size.

Is the original zip a TWRP flashable ROM? If so, perfect.
Last time I did it was through Odin, since it normally would flash over the recovery partition anyway. And then just reflash auto-root and TWRP again. Just the way that Samsung packs their OTA updates, I guess.

Oh OK.. No problem. I'll want your original zip tho cuz Shamsung made some sinister changes recently to prevent further/future Rooting and don't want our efforts to be in vain. Also, we can use ur knowledge of the current ROM to help spot any issues (that we would be uncertain of) with any newer builds.. Hence, Going with the devil we Know. Str8? Just PM me a link to ur original zip, if possible and we'll go from there.
