I found this framework which works with the Rise. it has been tested on other devices and it seems the developer has now made it universal.

The reason this works is because the changes are stored into memory not on the device itself. This means the device thinks the changes are not made to the device but allows the changes to be made by the memory since memory is always changing anyway.

Now there are many modules to make a variety of changes. There are way too many modules to explain via a tutorial here. The good news is that the developer of each module has made good description of each module.

The main point is make sure you "READ", "READ", "READ", "READ", "READ", "READ", before adding anything. They took their time in documenting everything properly so if you do not "READ" before installing something, causing some sort of damage to your phone, it will be completely your fault!

On your device go the the following website to download the "Xposed Installer". It will install the 'Xposed Framework" on your device and then you can select different modules to install with different features.

I use XPosed on my Victory and Ouya- it works really well. Don't have a Rise but I can vouch for XPosed itself.

Yea I tried it on ZTE, Kyocera and Samsung devices. It worked on all of them. Interesting it worked on Ouya!

this is awesome :) i have a custom ui that looks like the xperia and the xposed modules helped it out alot.

Any suggestions of what to use? I have a rise and I'd really like to extend the RAM memory, even if it is just a swap file on the SD.

There are so many options for Xposed-Mods. They wont mess the phone up since the options are stored in memory. You will have to try out the options on your own to see which works best for your daily uses. "

I like "Xblast" and "TuneBox". I believe the "Tunebox" has a different name but it is a one-stop shop for all major xpose-mods. You may give those a try.

Hope this helps...
