Root Xposed?

not that old why? the phone came with 5.0.2 and thats what i originally rooted on. i made a back up of 5.0.2 once i got twrp installed and then i used gt's method to update to 5.1.1

but yeah it cant be more than a month old? why would that matter though? also should it take forever to boot after first installing xposed?

I was just curious, but I don't know since xposed used to be an apk and didn't need to be flashed

So I flashed the official xposed zip and it booted up but there was a pop up message saying "Lg smart cover crashed" and I would click ok but it would just pop up again

i thought i saw in the patch notes that they fixed that...you're gonna have to disable/freeze/uninstall that app...

Yeah I froze it and it was fine but it said I was low on space but I had 5 gbs free in internal storage and 5 on sd, and it ran kinda choppy, and it also didn't let me install the xposed installer apk

i saw some place where it says to wipe dalvik cache and cache if you get that low space error, but some people said that didnt do anything

I tried to go into recovery with reboot utility but it wouldn't do anything when I clicked recovery, so I kinda panicked and booted up a back up

Clearing cache worked!

cool you got it working? only question i have for you is, did you use gametheorys update he posted just yesterday that has the new v10i update?

http://androidforums.com/threads/me...re-update-flashable-updated-8-20-2015.926221/

i didnt wanna try installing that over xposed so i wiped it clean, restored a back up, installed the update and now im gonna put xposed back on
Actually no.. I used his original one.. Haven't peeped the new.. Too much to change now.. I may on an off day update

i had assumed it was to patch the stagefright exploit, but i read this and it sounds like it just tried to lock us down further...so yeah it probably isnt imperative but since gametheory made a flashable zip for us i figured id install it

Question.. Does anyone know if xposed has a module to help us customize the notification shade on our phone (color wise)? I'm using flat style for my status bar and tints just curious if I can tweak our shade due to LG's skin
