Yahoo email not syncing with Samsung galaxy note 2

[Android Question]

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 AT&T: yahoo email suddenly stopped syncing on my phone (was fine yesterday). I get the message: "failed to sign in to **********@yahoo.com"

Do I just get rid of Yahoo, or is this a problem with all kinds of emails?

You should be able to sync with Yahoo. First, can you log into your Yahoo account from a pc? If not, it may be a Yahoo problem and they may be working on it.
If you can, Go to your application manager in settings and clear cache in Yahoo. If that doesn't work, try clearing data. This will wipe your Yahoo settings and start you fresh. If that still doesn't work, uninstall yahoo then reinstall. Then settings/accounts/yahoo/sync
