Help yahoo email question. ...weird

OK so I have my yahoo email synched to my phone. I will get my emails but there ones from 2 months ago or longer so I delete them and a couple hours past and I will get the same ones. Or even weider I received one sayin it was from 12/31/1969 has anyone had this problem if so please help

I have had the EXACT experience. I ended up dumping my Y! account and sending a Y! internet shortcut from mobile Yahoo on my Droid's homescreen and check my email periodically throughout the day. Far from convenient, but it's the only workaround that I know of thus far. From what I've read, Verizon's official position seems to be along the lines of, "Gmail or die." Sorry I don't have a better answer. Hopefully someone else does, because I'm not a happy camper about this either.
