is anyone else not getting notifications on the yahoo mail app ? i downloaded it off the google play store today,but the notifications dont seem to be working

Have you gone into the Settings and made sure that you are supposed to receive notifications?
Otherwise maybe you should turn off your device, remove the battery, and then put it back in and restart the device.
Also I am moving this thread into the Android Application forums since you are having issues with an application.

When yahoo updated their ui for this app a month or two ago, that was an issue with this app. They got it corrected but it appears to be happening again.im experiencing the same problem. It started doing this a couple of days ago. I would suggest going into settings in the app and leaving them feedback from there.they will get it resolved in due time.
