Yahoo Mail App 2.6.6 Painfully Slow....

It takes about 8 sec's for the app to open. Anyone else have this issue? I cleared the cache, but that didn't have any effect...

Use the native (gmail) app - add your Yahoo account to it.

I use k-9. You can use the stock email app too. I find it rather stupid to have an entire different app just to have a second email account, and so have removed all the others and only have one.
