Yahoo Mail App Memory

Anyone else have this issue?I will check running Apps on my gs2Skyrocket and see yahoo mail using 22MB memory and using between 48% and 68% of CPU!I have noticed on several occasions where my battery goes dead way to fast and wondering if this is the cause and why it's doing this?

Don't think yahoo mail is that popular on android. But I'd try reinstalling the app and see if t continues. There are also third party apps that may run better to check yahoo mail(k9 mail is popular), or have your yahoo forwarded to gmail.

I use the Yahoo mail app and i think it is the best (some times glitches which eventually get fixed by updates). On my running services yahoo uses about 19 mb of memory.

Try using Power Tutor to see you app battery consumption. Mine shows that yahoo does ot use very much power while inactive and only about 3%when I go and retrieve mail.

I do not use a task killer. I found one of the best ways to save battery is to disable auto sync but to enable background sync.
