Yahoo mail - new beta

[BudDroid]

Noob here, activating my first smartphone today, LG Optimus S on Sprint.

I'm assuming that I'll be able to access my Yahoo mail account through whatever standard EMail access feature is built into Android 2.2. Correct?

Yahoo is pushing a beta version of the whole EMail system, which includes mobile access apps. I assume there are more features than the standard Android mail. Anyone using it?

Any apps available on the market to enhance communication with the current Yahoo mail system?

Both of those will work.

I would try Yahoos own email application first.

Ain't this a laugh - searching on Yahoo, I could only find converting to the new EMail beta as a way to get a EMail app from Yahoo. After posting, I Googled and found (on Yahoo!) the current Yahoo EMail app. So, I'll activate soon and use it.
