Yahoo mail no longer pulling down emails

All,

For the past week I have not been automatically getting incoming email via the Yahoo mobile mail ap. I have to manually open up the program before it will check for new mail. I have read several threads, like this one: http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-support-troubleshooting/359424-yahoo-mail-stopped-working-3.html

So far, reading the above thread it seems like it might be an issue on Yahoos end? I've cleared the cache with no effect. I see no options to change sync frequency. I can send mail, and receive only when I manually check. This is with yahoos mobile mail ap on a droid 2 on verizon.

Anyone know the issue and/or solution?

I have my Gmail account set up to pull in my Yahoo mail, then I filter it to a folder "Yahoo". My settings pop.mail.yahoo.com port 995 have been working fine. When I check Gmail (through K9) it pulls all Gmail and Yahoo mail.

Try uninstall and reinstall.

Ok, here is what fixed it for me. In the settings for Yahoo Mobile Mail I turned off notifications, then rebooted. Then I went back into the settings, turned notifications back on, and rebooted. Everything seems to be back to normal. I am now getting notified of emails as they come in.
