Yahoo Messenger problems

Anyone else having issues with Yahoo Messenger atm?

Worked beautifully last night, but now this morning I'm unable to see any of my contacts' statuses, whether they're online or not, and completely unable to recieve any messages.

People GET my messages, as I proved with my non-mobile Yahoo account. Tried logging out and logging back in, rebooting my EVO, uninstalling and reinstalling off the Market...nothing.

Even tried logging in via my iPad's Messenger app, but it worked flawlessly on there. Just Android seems to be having the issue currently, at least for me.

Anyone else?
 
I am having issues with Yahoo Messenger on my Android this morning. It keeps saying it is continually loading the online contacts. I cannot message anyone. They do not get my messages. If I choose to load the menu, it automatically logs me out. If I hit the back button which should take you back to the previous screen, it logs me out. If I clicked on anyones screen name to send a message it automatically logs me out. I've uninstalled, wiped the Yahoo date, and reinstalled several times and it is still not working. Is anyone else having issues? What to do?
 
I'm having the same problems with android messenger today. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app - no luck!! Yahoo messenger on my laptop still works fine.
 
Same here. Maybe Yahoo changed something behind the scenes that the app wasn't ready for or something. Annoying as crap. I thought it was my power saving app messing with data, but no dice. Do hope they fix it soon though.
 
I have the same problem with yahoo messenger, loading contacts..then all just appeared offline. I have samsung galaxy SII. I just bought it yesterday, got disappointed i could not use yahoo messenger.
 
I'm having this problem now. It was working fine since I installed it a few days after I bought the phone but since Friday (2 days ago) it just jams on "loading contacts" and displaying everyone offline!

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? :confused:
 
Same problem here. Anyone got the way to solve this problem hopely can email me how to solve this problem. My ym on my galaxy ace keep showing 'loading online contacts' . Please help me by sending the way of solving at my email abang_puteri@yahoo.com. Tq.
 
as of 2 days ago....my yahoo messenger worked just fine.....NOW...i cant see any of my online contacts at all....they can get my messages if i send one but i cant get anything from them...
it just says....loading online contacts and sits there loading....FOREVER !!
anyone else having this issue ???
seems this is not the first time......WHAT DO I DO ???????
 
I'm not sure about the mobile version but I get this on Classic Mail"
To help focus our efforts on core Yahoo! product experiences, we will discontinue Messenger in Yahoo! Mail Classic by Fri, 3/22/13. You can find more details about this here.

So if your mobile service is connected to Classic anything, that might be the problem.

I don't use messenger, so this doesn't affect me in mail.

I have the same problem, both on my Droid Razr M, as well as my rooted Nook Color, which runs a version of JB.

I am having the same issues. I checked on the Play Store ratings for Messenger and it seems that everyone that has an Android is having the same issue. NOW...is it a Yahoo issue or an Android issue and when will it be corrected???

I emailed yahoo support and got basically a form response to try a few different things on my phone....but it clearly is not the phone. this is a problem with yahoo mobile i think. and i'm not even sure they are aware of it.
