Is anyone having an issue with yahoo messenger on the HTC hero? It worked well at first - but now it doesn't. Specifically - I can log in - but none of my contacts pop up. In addition, I can send IM's from my phone - but I can't receive them.

yea I had that problem and I also couldnt log in to another one of my yahoo IDs because my password was too "long"...

so I just downloaded eBuddy from the market, you can have aim, yahoo, gtalk, msn, facebook, myspace... and you can have more then one ID up at a time, and it shows all your contacts online and offline..... I love this app

I use ebuddy as well. My only problem with it for yahoo is it only shows the persons user id instead of the nickname or first name I assigned to it.

U probably did this, but I logged out, did a soft reset, logged back in, and problem was fixed.
