Help Yahoo News Ticker

Hey guys, I recently factory reset my phone and noticed at first when I enabled the yahoo news ticker on the lock screen that it would scroll from right to left at the bottom of the screen, and then I noticed that theres even a setting for the scroll speed in the lock screen settings, however after about the first day of this it has stopped scrolling at the bottom of the lock screen. If you have never seen this happen, its like the bottom of a tv screen when you're watching cnn or some other news station, theres a news reel at the bottom of the screen that scrolls. Anyone have any ideas as to why it has stopped scrolling? Thanks

Have you tried going through the process of wiping data/cache on the app? Perhaps a fresh install? I'm not familiar with that widget, unfortunately.
Is there a chance Yahoo updated the app to make that change?

Thanks, I just tried that (should have thought of that earlier) but still no change, it wont scroll, it's not that big of a deal but i would like for it to work

Have you tried rebooting your phone? May just be a temporary glitch with the apps memory location. Also try toggling the ticker off then on again in the lockscreen settings. Or changing the Sliding speed back to normal if you had set it to slow or fast.

Thanks, but I have tried all of those ideas, I'm even thinking about doing a hard reset but figure id be in the same boat as I am now after no time

OK, one more try. There's another app called News Daemon(EUR). Try clearing the data on it. Your lock screen crawler should have no info when you go back into the lock screen. Mine didn't. Then go back into lock screen settings and reset them. I noticed the 'Set default news' under Settings had defaulted back to Top Stories from my previously selected Most Popular. But Content type and Sliding speed had remained the same (News & Fast). I set speed to back to normal.

Thanks, I have tried that too with no success. I can't figure the thing out. Works alright for everyone else?
