Yahoo Weather Wrong Date

My Yahoo Weather App is showing the incorrect time and I can't work out how to fix it.
In Australia some states have just changed to daylight savings.
I should be on AEDT and the App shows AEST putting the clock behind one hour.
The time is correct on my phone.
Does anyone know how to go about changing this?

Sometimes the date and time is tied to the GPS. Are all your GPS settings enabled? Sometimes there's a refresh icon on the weather widget/app that you'll need to tap after you enable your GPS settings. Most likely, it will be near the date and time on the app itself.

Also, it could be that we only need to do a soft reset. If it has a removable battery, do this: with the device powered on, remove the phone
