any ideas why im still on 4.0.2?
ive got the the GN official update checker says im updated direct from Google so why haven't i been updated?

tried the force update in Google services framework.

How many times have you tried to delete the data in the service framework and restart?

4.0.4 Isn't pushing out any more. Google stopped it due to the widely reported issue regarding signal dropping when the phone sleeps. Presumably it will begin rolling out again when they fix the bug.

Don't feel bad. Many people are still stuck on 4.0.1.

I tried it about 10 times this morning too, and haven't been told about an update.

There was talk in an XDA thread about removing the battery and SIM card. It'll be linked to from one of the other threads discussing the 4.0.4 update:

I have unlocked my nex and did force update from google 4.0.2 ---> 4.0.4 and everything is ok. I dont get any signal drops during sleep...

I don't know much about unlocking the bootloader and rooting phones, so will leave that for the moment. I did read somewhere that unlocking the bootloader in 4.0.2 is easier than unlocking it in 4.0.4 though.

My Nex is NOT rooted. Just unlocked. It is still stock firmware from Google. I unlocked it so my updates dont come from SAMSUNG. Now my updates come from GOOGLE. On google you have 4.0.4 ROM files which you can manually update...

And this is still official STOCK 4.0.4 firmware from google, and my Nex is not rooted.

I updated it couple of days when it was released. About a month ago...
