It's nothing novel but here's something I just noticed. When charging your phone the micro usb port cover can also double as your power button. Just press the end of it gently and the notch makes perfect contact.

When streaming Pandora, doing GPS, and Bluetooth, the back of the unit gets pretty warm. Possibly can use the phone for a hand-warmer in cold weather, or as a cup warmer.
